2017.04.10 Notice

Ice Skating / Lido Visit - Tuesday 11th April
This event is happening tomorrow, Tuesday the 11th.  Our first stop will be skating at Ice World in the Square Palmerston North from 10.00 - 11.00a.m, followed by lunch and a swim at the Lido, swimming from 1.00 to 2.00pm.  Students will then be dismissed for the day to make their way back home.
Students may go directly from home to Ice World to meet Mrs Cuming outside the rink.
Students will need to wear their school uniform and take a packed lunch, a drink, their togs, towel/s, sunscreen and a hat. (Please note: no correct uniform, no participating in events).
Parents please contact your child's driver to arrange pick up and drop off places and times.
I have allocated children to the following vehicles :
ANGOVE : Renee.
BLACKMORE : Savannah and Saxon.
CUMING : Fisher and Phinece.  (Fisher, Phinece, Jackson and Tyler home after Robotics).
DIGBY : Tyler and Kealee.
FIELD : Josie and Katie.
FLUTEY : Cidnee, Tayler and Ava.
ILTON : Jackson and Abbey pick up from Feilding.
KNIGHT : Owen.
JAGGARD : Devarney.
PATTERSON : Bentley.
PHILPS : Ava, Aimee and Bently.
STRAHAN : Genny and Summer.

Assembly
A reminder that we have assembly this Wednesday the 12th, in the senior room starting at 2.00pm. Hope to see you then.

Farewell for Devarney and Family
This Thursday the 13th, we will have a farewell shared afternoon tea for Devarney and his family. This will be in the junior room starting at 2.15.  Could all families please supply a small afternoon tea plate to share.

End of Term 1
A reminder that school finishes for the term this Thursday afternoon, the 13th of April at 2.45.
Term 2 will commence on Monday the 1st of May at 9.00a.m.

Sam Strahan Cup
Congratulations to the Year 7 and 8 team who won the Sam Strahan cup, beating Colyton School in the final at the tournament held last Friday in Palmerston North.  Tyler was the one student from Apiti School joining Kimbolton students.  A huge thank you to Adam for coaching this team to victory.
The Year 5 and 6 Rippa Rugby tournament was postponed last week, but is going ahead tomorrow (Tuesday).  Best of luck with the tournament Sarah and Johnny.
