These start this Wednesday the 4th of November. These lessons are for all students (2 lessons per day) and take place at the Freyberg High School swimming pool. Students need to attend school beforehand, and we will need to leave Apiti School by 9.45 as the first lesson starts at 11.00am which means we need to be at the pool by 10.45 as they need to be changed into their togs and ready for their 11.00am lesson. The 2nd lesson of the day starts at 12.30 and finishes at 1.00. Students will then return back to school therefore bus students will be back in time for the bus. Students will need to take their lunch, a drink, 2 towels and their togs. I have allocated students to the following vehicles :-
ANGOVE : Renee. (Back: Ava, Dylan)
BLACKMORE : Savannah.
CUMING : Nikki, Sarah, Lauren and Kirsten.
DIGBY : Huntah, Tyler and Jacob.
FIELD : Josie, Katie and Ava (down only)
FIELDER : Jackson and Dylan (down only)
FLUTEY : Cidnee and Tayler.
HOLDAWAY : Elliot.
KIRA : Caelan.
MANNING : Abbey.
MILLER/GATES : Georjia, Ella, Erika and Bradley.
STIMPSON : Fisher and Phinece.
WILLS : Hannah, Brooke, James and Johnny.
If any of the above arrangements change, please inform Mary or Nicki a.s.a.p.
The other
lessons will be held on the 11th, 25th of November, 2nd
December and the 9th of December.
We would like to enter a team (or teams of 3) into this competition at the Manawatu A and P Show this weekend. If any students are really keen to organise and enter a team, please let Nicki know. We will need a parent team manager for each team please.
A reminder that each of our students will have a couple of pieces of art on display at the show as part of the Oroua Art Festival. We hope to have some free tickets to give away to those who are interested in attending the show.
Mountain Biking
All students need to have their bikes at school by 1.30 on Friday the 13th to work with Phil for all bike and helmet checks. Skills and Drills for all students at Kimbolton on Wednesday the 18th and the Mountain Biking for the senior room students on Thursday the 19th at Raumai (not Santoft). (Please note the change of days).
