Cheltenham School has invited us to travel down to share in a fun day and celebrate the Commonwealth Games this Friday the 1st of August. This event is for the whole school.
We will leave Apiti School at 10.00am to arrive at Chelty by 10.30 at which point the students will have morning tea and a chance to mingle.
The games will start at 11.00 and finish at 12.30 which will be followed by lunch and own games from 12.30 to 1.30. We will arrive back in Apiti by 2p.m. If the weather is unsuitable, the phone tree will operate, and it will be school as usual. Students are asked to wear their school uniform please.
Thank you to all those parents who have offered to take transport to Cheltenham and back.

Oroua Hockey Festival - Tuesday the 12th August
This event is for the whole school and will be held at the Twin Turfs in Palmerston North - 6a Manawaroa St. The programme for the day :-
Leave Apiti at 9.30.
10:30-10:55 Warm up/organise teams.
· 10:55-11:10 Game 1
· 11:10-11:15 Break 1
· 11:15 – 11:30 Game 2
· 11:30- 11:35 Break 2
· 11:35 – 11:55 Game 3
· 12:10 GK Smash
· 12:30 leave Turf. We are trying to organise a visit to the Science Centre or TeManawa. We will arrive back in Apiti in time for the school bus if needed.
