Parent Notice 09.11.2011
Junior Small Ball Day – Friday 11th November
Thank you to all those parents who have offered transport to and from this event.
A reminder that we need to leave Apiti School at about 9.00 so we are at Kiwitea School by 9.25.
Please have your child wear their school uniform, take a really good lunch, a drink, warm clothing, sunhat, and if it looks like it could be hot, sunscreen.
The day should finish at around 2.00pm. Parents are most welcome to stay for the day, but if you leave, please make sure you return for pick up by 2.00pm. Students will be back at Apiti School in time for the afternoon bus run.
There will be sausages, water bottles and possibly muffins available to buy for $2.00.
I have allocated children to the following vehicles :-
CLARKE :- Derek & Brooke.
CUMING :- Ben, Tyler, Alex & Johnny.
McCARROLL :- David, Sarah & Ryan.
MARTIN :- Danni, Logan, Sasha & Hayley.
ROSS :- Keanu.
VICKERS :- Pixel, Chloe & Franklin.
Please let Mary know if these arrangements change.
After School Athletics
The After School Athletic Club will start again this Thursday (the 10th) and will run from 3 to 4.15pm every Thursday until the Oroua Group of Schools Athletic Sports. Please let Jo know on 3284 805 if your child would like to attend the After School programme. Parent help is required please. Athletics will not run if it is raining, but if it is fine at 3.00 it will still go ahead.
Swimming Lessons
These continue at the Feilding Makino Aquatic Centre on Friday the 18th of November, then Friday the 25th, Wednesday the 14th of December and Friday the 16th. Thank you to those parents who have informed me of the days you are available to take transport. Those who have not, can you please fill in the attached slip and return it to school as soon as possible.
