Oroua Badminton Tournament - Tuesday 20th October
This event is happening tomorrow - Tuesday the 20th, at the Civic Centre in Feilding, for the Year 5, 6, 7 and 8 students starting at 9.30am and finishing at 12.30pm (a little later than previously advised). We will need to leave Apiti by 8.45 (once the bus has arrived at school) and will return back to school by about 1.15pm.
Students need to take sneakers, their lunch, a drink and a towel please.
Thank you to those parents who have offered transport.
I have allocated students to the following vehicles.
DIGBY :- Huntah, Tyler and Jacob.
FIELDER :- Nikki, Georjia, Erika and Ella.
HILLS :- Jackson.
STIMPSON :- Fisher, Dylan, Hannah and Brooke (Home).
WILLS :- Hannah, Brooke, Fisher and Dylan.
Please let Nicki know if any of the above arrangements are changed.

Shared Lunch / Afternoon Tea
ASSA organises the shared lunch for the day which may include meat, salad or vege dishes e.g quiche, bacon and egg pies / sausage rolls etc., please expect a phone call regarding this.
Also, could all school families please bring along a plate for afternoon tea.
Grocery Raffle
We are again running a grocery raffle on the day, so could we ask each family to please provide about 3 non-perishable items to contribute to this raffle. These items can be dropped into the school office anytime up to Thursday - Thank you!! We look forward to seeing you all here on Thursday.
Swimming Lessons
Swimming lessons are due to start on Wednesday the 4th of November and will be every Wednesday from then on e.g. the 11th, 18th, 25th of November and the 2nd December. Unfortunately, as the Makino is under going a major upgrade, we have had to look further afield for our lessons, so have managed to book the Freyberg pool in Palmerston North for our lessons. The BOT has very generously agreed to subsidise these lessons by paying half.
