Lamb and Calf Day - 23rd October
Lamb and Calf Day provides a great opportunity for our school to showcase student learning and celebrate success. This open day is a meaningful opportunity to present and showcase work from many areas of the curriculum, in a variety of formats.
This day consists of three parts : Indoor section in the morning, Outdoor section in the afternoon and Whanau Group section.
We would encourage all students to participate on this day by bringing along a lamb or a calf.  We suggest that lambs and calves are born after the 1/07/15.
We understand that there are occasions when a student may not be able to bring a lamb or calf.  To enable everyone to participate, we encourage the sharing/offers of a borrowed lamb.  Judges will be made aware should this occur.
Lambs are judged on Leading, Calling, and Rearing.  Calves are judged on Leading, Walking without a lead and Care and Attention.

Selfies
This year the photograph for the Manawatu Digi Awards is a selfie. It will also be the style for Lamb and Calf Day this year. Please bring the creative selfies photos on a removeable drive or email it to the school.

Sports Reports - Saturday 1st August
Yay its netball today. I have been practicing all week because I am GS. The whistle goes and the centre passes the ball. The ball comes racing down the court to me and I shoot. I get the ball in first shot. The ball heads straight back to centre. The ball comes back 9 more times.  I only get 6 of the goals but thats great. My team wouldn't win with out me.  :) - By Lauren.
