Oroua Group of Schools Athletics - Friday 7th December
Due to these sports being postponed last Friday, they will now be held this Friday. All details remain the same. If this day is cancelled, it will be school as normal.
Unfortunately, the phone tree did not operate effectively last Friday for some parents. Please, in the future if the number you are allocated to call is not answered, please call the next person listed below that number. That way the tree will continue and everyone will be notified.
Rangiwahia School Concert
A reminder that the whole school will be travelling over to Rangiwahia School next Monday (the 10th of December) for their dress rehearsal. We will leave school at 9.00a.m.
We have been invited to stop at Michael Bourkes dam on our way home to further celebrate our local environment e.g local bird life, if the weather is suitable. We will have a picnic lunch there at about 12 ish and then make our way back to school. As we will need help with transport, parents are most welcome to come along for the day or you are welcome to meet us at Mikes dam for the picnic lunch, but please let Mary or Nicki know if that is your intention.
Board of Trustees Meeting
The next Board of Trustees meeting is to be held next Monday the 10th of December in the school staff room, starting at 7.30pm. Please view the agenda by clicking on the BOT tab at the top of this newsletter. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Student Reports
Student reports are due out soon and will be uploaded to your child's wiki page.
If you feel you need to see your child's teacher, please book a suitable time.
School Pool Attendant
The school has a vacancy for the position of School Pool Attendant.
This position would be available to the successful applicant when the swimming pool is open.
If you would like to apply for this position, please apply before the end of this term.

Targa Rally Calendars
We have 26 of these calendars available in the school office selling for $5.00 each with proceeds going to the students account.
Some really great photos of rally cars on each month. The months are from October 2012 to September 2013. Just call into the school office to view or purchase these calendars.
