School Music
Jo Beard is employed by Apiti School to teach on a Wednesday each week. This includes music such as school singing , concert preparation, music theory and appreciation and an option to learn the piano. Each student will receive individualized tuition.
There are a number of students who have expressed an interest in learning the ukulele and guitar. Jo Eastwood is available to teach these students each Tuesday. Students can have a private ½ hour lesson at a cost of $10/lesson (music tuition costs around $30 in town) or can learn in a group of approximately 3 students at a cost of $5/lesson. These lessons will be in school time unless you request that they are in a break (Breaks are ½ an hour only).
Students learning an instrument are also committing to regular practice, in their own time, either at school or at home.
Please let Mary or Nicki know if your child would like to learn the guitar or ukulele.
School lunches
Toastie pies will be available for lunch tomorrow.
