2012.3.23

Welcome to week 1 of term 2, 2012.  We hope everyone had a great break and are now ready to face an exciting and busy term 2.

We would like to welcome Lauren to our school as a brand new 5 year old.  Lauren is the youngest sister to Charlotte and Ethan.  We know Lauren will enjoy learning at our school.
Unfortunately we have had to say farewell to Chevelle, Keanu and Tehya.  We wish the Ross children all the very best at their new school and their future.

School Roll
We have started term 2 with a roll of 26, 15 students in the senior room and 11 students in the junior room.

Our EOTC Camp Magazine
This was a great reflection of our learning and experiences in Wanganui. It was pleasing to see the way students took full responsibility for the production of this. If your family did not get a copy at our final assembly, please feel free to pick one up from the school foyer.
You can share it with family and friends through this wiki link:- http://apitischoolwiki.wikispaces.com/Cumulative%C2%A0Magazines

Sam Strahan Cup
This competition is for all schools in the Manawatu for schools with a combined roll of  up to 120.  We would like to thank all those parents who travelled to Palmerston North to support our junior and senior teams.  This is a great opportunity for those students selected to learn, commit and extend themselves in a team environment.  We were once again, very proud of the great team spirit and good sportsmanship our teams showed at this event, with our junior team finishing 3rd and our senior team finishing 4th.  We thank Jock and Doug for the time and effort they put into our students and this competition - your commitment is very much appreciated.
