Lamb and Calf Day
Students celebrated and showcased their learning.  It was very impressive to see, both inside and outside, the great examples of meaningful, authentic contexts that students at Āpiti School use to develop their learning. Through these, we can all see the full NZ curriculum including literacy, numeracy, managing self, contributing and participating, but especially the creativity, connected, cultural awareness and learn for life aspects which our school vision embraces and values. Well done and congratulations to all students.
Special thanks to Ken Thompson and Grant Kitchen for helping the students with the Healthy Muffins on International Chef's Day and the following day.
Thanks to all staff for making this day possible and especially to Linda Penfold for your inspiration and help.
A huge thank you to the following judges who did not have an easy task. Indoor Judges :- June, Sheree, Bronwyn, Shawn, Kylie and Lesley and the Outdoor Judges :- Hamish, Sarah (Totally Vets), Ruth, Donna, Jacob and Maddie, we appreciate your time and support.
