We will need transport to and from this event for the students and their wearable art creations, so please fill in the attached form and send it back to school as soon as possible so transport can be arranged.
Parents and members of the community are most welcome to attend this show.

Capital E - The Farm at the End of the Road - 29th June.
This event is happening on Tuesday the 29th of June for the Junior room students (Year 1 - 3). The Apiti Playcentre will be joining us for this show. We will need to be at the Massey University College of Education Auditorium by 11.00am. We are currently in the process of organising another activity for the students after the show and lunch. We will send more information home a little closer to the time, but please mark this date on your calendar. Please be aware that we will need transport to this event which you may like to work in with playcentre parents.

Senior room Literacy
Senior room students will be further developing their oral, written and visual language skills through video. This is an important element of all literacy programmes. We will use the video 'Whale rider' as a context for learning. It is a New Zealand video with characters and plot well suited to our learning progarmme. 'Whale Rider' is rated PG. If you would like to view the video before we begin our related literacy learning or have any questions, please ring Nicki. We will begin our 'Whale Rider' unit on Monday.
Regards, Mary & Niicki.
